About

Fogle’s Gunsmithing specializes in firearm rebluing and restoration, with over 45 years of experience, starting in 1973. We use the same hot black oxide process (also called hot bluing or hot dip bluing) used by most gun manufacturers.

In addition to rebluing, we also offer Parkerizing, color case hardening and wood refinishing. For aluminum alloy components that cannot be blued in the hot black oxide process, we use an epoxy based bake on finish called Gun-Kote. Other refinishing options include Nitre Bluing, gold plating small parts and gold, silver, white and red infill coloring for stamped characters and engraving.

We do not do full line gunsmithing, but some of the other services available are minor repairs, drill and tap for scope base mounting, installation of recoil pads and relining .22 rimfire barrels.
